We were referred to consider adopting Brandon Hill Primary by Phd Marcia Davis of the Arthur Henry Organization. She is also UZAZI’s member in New Jersey, USA.

Brandon Hill literally straddles mountain peaks that sit on top of Clarendon and St Ann. Traveling there took true grit as we braced the after effects of a torrential weather system meandering cratered roads strewn with bamboo as if spaghetti passing one site where a vehicle leapt off the road over the precipice. The school sits to the side of a main road with the illusion that the school was small and uni dimensional. We learned that it had at least 3 lower levels that offered cafeteria, classrooms, offices, Teachers cottage and play areas.

Their library is current and the school is adorned with the trappings of well invested teachers and an effective administration.

We will offer teaching resources, computers and furnishings to support Brandon Hill Primary.
