Hugh was born in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, Jamaica, on August 22, 1954. He attended Petersfield
Primary and Infant School before graduating to Cornwall College in Montego Bay in 1965. Thereafter,
Hugh migrated to the United States in 1971 where he earned his BSc in administrative science a few
years later. This is the result of having good educators who nurtured him at his primary and secondary
schools in Jamaica.

As he now plans to return to his homeland, Hugh’s passion is to give back and help
children by investing in communities where funding and support for education are in dire need. A good
education will help to prepare these children for a better life because they are the future to help guide
society and our planet in a positive direction.
